Analysis of The Effect of Variations in Mud Content on Stability and Flow Values in Asphalt Concrete Mixtures Layer Aus (AC-WC)


 Aggregat mud affect the weakening of asphalt adhesion and bonds between aggregate grains which will cause damage more quickly before reaching design age, one is formation holes in road surface layer.The purpose this study was to measure effect variations silt content on stability flow values ​​of Asphalt-coated concrete mix (AC-WC). All tests were carried out using Marshall test method each object became basis for calculations analyze AC-WC mixture with 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% 20%. The optimal bitumen used 6.7%. Furthermore, marshall testing obtain values, ​​tended decrease from 1048.64 kg 798.96 kg, affected minimum value ≥ 800 increase 1.54 mm 3.05 mm, but discharge still meets required limit 3 a 13%. Based results ANOVA analysis obtained test, shows significant level an insignificant proportion sludge.
